Corporate Church Covering

The Holy Spirit will not fully manifest himself in an atmosphere he cannot condone or in a ministry he cannot endorse.

When a corporation is formed it becomes, in legal terms, a “Creature of the State”, an artificial legal entity, a “Creature of Statutes”, a fiction. A fiction is an invention or fabrication, as opposed to truth or fact. When created, the corporation and the actors within it must comply with, (obey), all the terms and conditions as set forth in the contractual agreements and articles forming the structure of the corporation, as well as all the rules and regulations created by the statutes governing over this type of activity. Incorporating is a voluntary waiver of sovereignty. When a corporate entity is established it is birthed into a realm which lies under a fictitious protective covering. That protective covering, in legal contemplation, is referred to as the “Corporate veil”. The practice of incorporating is predominantly done in an effort to protect a business’s assets from different methods of involuntary forfeiture. Whether justifiably, or not, it is an extremely difficult task to penetrate the protective covering of a corporation. The act of penetrating this fictitious covering is referred to in legal terms as “piercing the corporate veil”.  The corporate veil is, in truth, a covering of fiction, a veil of untruth, a covering of deception invented by man, ruled over and regulated by man and his doctrines. All corporate entities exist in manmade institutions of fiction, under the protective covering of deception.

“A corporation is a creature of the state. It is presumed to be incorporated for the benefit of the public. It receives certain special privilidges and franchises and holds them subject to the laws of the state and the limitation of its charter. Its powers are limited by law. It can make no contract not authorized by its charter. Its rights to act as a corporation are only preserved to it so long as it obeys the laws of its creation. There is a reserved right in the legislature to investigate its contracts and ascertain if it has exceeded its powers”.

There was a time in this Nation when the church of Jesus Christ was revered by the people, respected and feared by the government and banking institutions. The church house was a place where God’s people gathered, congregated, not only to hear the word of the Lord but to exchange ideas and news worthy information, to fellowship, to create relationships with God and each other, to gain knowledge. In this atmosphere a moral compass was instilled and fostered in order for the men and women to guide themselves, their families, communities, and to lead the nation in a Godly manner. Since the early 1940’s, at the advent of the voluntary income tax system in the USA, the church organizations and other charitable organizations were offered a special program wherein they could enjoy a status that officially exempted them from contributing to the already voluntary system of taxation. Under this new program the inner governance of the Church morphed to appear much less like the structure described in the book of Acts and more like the structure of a corporation described in commerce practices. The structure of a corporation is not designed to seek and save the lost but to seek and save money. It is designed to govern over business activity, increase profits, to control and track marketing and expenses. The corporate structure was not designed to reconcile man back to God, but to reconcile the books. It is by the influence of this environment that over time some churches have become ultra seeker friendly. As a corporate business they have become more focused on marketing and producing for the pleasure of people in a quest for more customers to increase the bottom line.

Once a church organization incorporates, its sovereignty (free status), apart from and superior to the State, and any other assumed authority, is relinquished and it then, by voluntary agreement, becomes property of and subject to the State government in which it is incorporated. The innumerable and unalienable rights granted to it by God, are replaced by certain special privileges subject to the laws of the State and the limitations of its corporate charter. As a requirement to take part in this corporate program, the church has to agree to remain silent with regard to certain issues involving its new master, the State, and certain other political and legal issues. Not knowing the exact details of what could and could not be spoken about in the churches regarding these issues, the church leaders, by in large, to be safe, evolved to avoid getting directly involved in politics and legislation and political candidates, or disseminating information and opinions about such. Further, church leadership, in some instances, has even errantly led their congregations down a path toward unconditional submission to man and governments. For fear of reprisal from its new masters, the State and international bankers, and for fear of losing its coveted “tax exempt status”, the western church has effectively been silenced and rendered virtually powerless.

I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

I say every incorporated church organization and every church leader operating under the regulation of the State is in direct violation of this, the first commandment. Furthermore as such, are teaching by example, others to follow. Jesus said,

“Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.  For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.  Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven”.

When in the course of obedience to God could it ever be considered righteous that His children are fettered in any way? When can it ever be considered righteous that men of the secular world can regulate the actions and voice of God’s Church when it is set to act and speak in line with such obedience?

I believe that the Spirit of Truth is settling upon this nation like never before. There is a growing conflict in the heart of Christians, especially in leadership. Increasingly, Pastors and other Christian leaders are finding themselves at spiritual odds with their worldly masters. There is an awakening occurring. The existence of this spiritual battle, is somewhat evidenced in reoccurring behavior exhibited by a Spirit seeking Pastor who seems to at one moment passionately deliver an inspired message, revealing a heart for liberty and reliance on the Holy Spirit, only to later demurely recant it. These leaders are beginning to feel progressively more constrained, spiritually bound and imprisoned. The tension is mounting and there is about to be a prison break. The truth of all this will be made increasingly evident as different issues and the tolerance there of are forced upon the Church by the secular world. Take for instance the issue of gay rights and gay marriage. As more and more States pass legislation in an attempt to force recognition and tolerance of gay marriage, more and more churches and church leaders are rising up in opposition to adherence to such legislation. By design these churches and leaders are being forced to make a choice. They are being forced to choose which master they are going to serve. Those that chose to serve God and refuse to sanction or perform these marriages will be or are currently being persecuted. Suddenly they have come to realize that obedience to God puts them in direct violation of the covenant they have voluntarily made with the State, and its rules. Those who refuse to obey the covenant will be or are in the process of being stripped of the once desired State sponsored contracts, licenses, agreements and credentials. I see this as one way of God using the enemies’ own ploys to liberate his church and free his true Sheppards.

  But he (Jesus) answered and said unto them, “Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition? For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death. But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition. Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men”.

This is because, by my spirit, they have seen the inequities that are practiced within today’s modern church model. Rectify this. Break down the walls, destroy this temple and I will raise it up in righteousness the likes of which has never before been seen. I will bless your house to overflowing and you will become an example to all. You will see revival and receive a full measure of my spirit and rest in my glory for my glory. It is time to stop letting the world influence MY church and for MY church to start influencing the world”.

Remember how he cleansed my temple of the merchandisers and the money changers. He made a scourge, a whip of small cords, and DROVE them all out. He over turned the tables of the money changers. Now, through fear and covetedness, MY church has freely entered into an accord with the money changers and by agreement has allowed them to govern over what can and cannot be taught in MY house. This has been justified in the minds of men and has been allowed to persist, through all manner of reasons and excuses. NONE are righteous! A decision must be made. There can be no question that our Nation has suffered extensive moral decay over the last many decades. Could it be that this is as a direct result of apathy and complacency within the body of Christ.  It is reported that well over half of the American population is Christian and of that, far less than half speak out and fulfill their leadership roll via the mediums provided such as voting. Could this be as a direct result of the errant teachings previously discussed? To believe that Christians are not to be involved in politics or political issues is absurd. To teach so is irresponsible, reckless and destructive.

God does get involved in politics. Did he not send Moses to Egypt to go before Pharaoh to petition the release of his people, because he heard the cry of his people as they struggled under the weight of the policies of Pharaoh and his taskmasters? Did not Jesus himself get involved in the politics of the Sadducees and Pharisees and their operations within the temples and synagogues? Why is it that most chose to overlook the greater truth that Jesus brought disruption to the political climate at that time? Not only with regards to the temple traditions and policies but to the policies of Caesar as well. Against the head Priests, scribes, Sadducees and Pharisees Jesus consistently spoke and rebuked their practices of deception, blasphemy, hypocrisy and teaching for commandments the traditions and doctrines of man. Remember that at one point Jesus fashioned a whip of small chord and cleansed the temple by driving out the money changers and merchandisers. Saying unto them, “It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves”. For this, the religious leaders of the time led the people against him. The very people who proclaimed to be teaching the ways and laws of God, sought to destroy Jesus. By their direction, Jesus, our Lord and Savior, was ultimately beaten beyond all recognition, forced to drag his cross through the streets while onlookers hurled all manner of obscenities at him. He was then nailed to that cross and hung between two thieves, all because he came to seek and save the lost and in so doing taught of love, hope, healing, truth and liberty. Ironically, the very people who professed to be men of God, teaching the word of God, murdered God in the flesh in an attempt to protect the small empires they had established and coveted. And the testimony they presented against Jesus was.

“We found this fellow perverting the nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Caesar, saying that he himself is Christ a King”. “He stirreth up the people, teaching throughout all Jewry, beginning from Galilee to this place”. Luke 23: 2&5 (KJV)

This day and age people, by in large, are so consumed with supporting their day to day living habits that they perceive they have time for little else. Therefore, anytime a person can seize an opportunity to justify lessening the burden of duties and responsibilities, they chose to do so, especially if it is sanctioned by someone or a group of people in a position of some authority. In light of this, could it be that today’s church at large is, in part, directly responsible for the moral decay of this nation? Silence is acquiescence. If one does not deny then one implies.

Edmund Burke once said,  “All that is necessary for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing”.

 “Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD.  Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the LORD.  And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase.  And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the LORD”.
