Independence Day Message

Independence is
synonymous with freedom, sovereignty, and liberty. Today our nation celebrates
a quarter century as a nation who battled to gain independence from the
oppressive rule of a monarchy to establish a new sovereign Republic governed by
its own citizenry under an agreement, a constitution, preceded by a “Declaration
of Independence” and followed by and attached to, a “Bill of Rights”. All of
which collectively decreed in letter and in spirit that the Almighty God of
Abraham and a steadfast belief in Him is the securer of the rights of the
people of the nation, a nation that will exist by virtue of following the
fundamental principals of the word of God.
The underlying matrix
empowering and stitching together the foundational fabric of this nation is the
notion that because man cannot be God, man cannot regulate nor usurp the rights
of the people granted to them by God, individually and collectively. Further,
though rights granted to man by God are innumerable, it is understood that the
free practice thereof ends immediately and abruptly when such a practice begins
to violate the rights of others. For example, Americans are granted the freedom
to practice religion, however such freedoms do not extend to the violation of the
rights of others. Essentially, your free practice of religion cannot include
ritual sacrifices, disturbing the peace, rioting or demanding certain attire be
worn by the public…
There are only two nations on earth who have proclaimed
their existence and origin by the grace, direction and ordination of the
Almighty God of Abraham, in sincerity.
These are the nations of Israel and the United States of America. Both
nations, since their inception, have been attacked by forces who have hatred
for their foundational beliefs. This is because the foundational beliefs are
life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness under the laws of God and the
freewill liberty, as granted by God cannot be oppressed and controlled for
gain. This is the fundamental reason behind the indoctrination of the children
of America when it comes to eliminating the references and influences of God
from the public square. When the people cease to believe that it is God who
grants their inalienable rights the people lose the spiritual fortitude and
boldness to keep them secure from the rule of oppressive, rebellious
unbelievers.
The Holy Spirit of our almighty God is the spirt of love,
not human romance. His Spirit is truth, liberty and promise. And His law is the
perfect law of liberty. Oppression and oppressive regimes hate this. Today many
oppressive and wicked ne’er do wells campaign in an effort to shame people into
developing a hatred for hate. This is because hate is a Godly emotion and, in
many cases, He teaches his followers to hate wickedness and the practitioners
of lawlessness. We know by the holy scriptures that God hates evil doers and
the wickedness they practice. Those practitioners want us to be ashamed of our
God in an effort to minimize the weight of righteous hatred they bear because
of their wicked ways and to prevent their exposure, rebuke and rejection.
As we ponder the above information, I believe it important
to remember the following scriptures. Also, contemplate this. Over three
thousand years ago the fall of the nation of Israel began by the people
demanding to set aside the liberty of the people living in line with the
leadership of God, in order to submit to the rule of a human king. They wanted
to be like other nations. Over three thousand years later America began its
rise to world dominance by demanding to be delivered from the rule of a king
and submitted to being ruled by its people, certified by their constitution, as
a sovereign Republic, “one nation under God”. We did not then nor do we now
want to be like other nations. America is to be set apart, an example, a beacon
of God’s spirit of liberty, for other nations to see.
